TRYING A CIRCUIT TRACK DAY

Track days are one of those things motoring enthusiasts dream about but rarely ever do. Time for that to change.

There's track driving, and then there's a proper track day. The kind where you're free to push yourself and the car without limits, on a circuit that's always been on your bucket list. No restrictions, no holding back - just the pure thrill of driving hard in a machine that's built for it.

It's hard to explain what that feels like because it will be different for every person, but to try and prompt you to get this wish off your bucket list and into reality, experts in this field TrackDays.co.uk invited me to attend one of their calendar's track day events. And, having gratefully accepted after looking down the list of available circuit venues, there was only one I was ever going to choose: the Nurburgring Nordschliefe.
